With just a few days notice we got ready to head to Jamaica for a solid four day dive training session. It was me (David), Rudi, Yasemin, and Olga. Olga is our new team member from Russia with great natural talent and a love for the water. The location for this training session was none other than the Blue Lagoon. With Air Jamaica as our main sponsor for this training session we ended up flying in to Jamaica on August 4 th with a jam-packed dive session planned and a departure date on August 9 th . We roughed the long drive from the airport to Port Antonio and rested up for the next day. The 5 th was going to be our first diving day. As most training or record sessions go, I expected to do nothing but preparation on the first day. Not this time. We were able to do two dives each and come out of the water fresh. With my cousin Richie there as safety / camera man, we could do multiple drops to the bottom of the 50m lagoon and use the video footage of the dives to evaluate and critique our every move.
