CONTEST

Hello divers, welcome to the Learnfreediving.com team contest. As you know, our athletes Yasemin Dalkilic and David Lee will be attempting new World Records in the Unassisted Constant Ballast category, suitably regarded as the hardest of all freediving disciplines.

With the current world records in the category standing at 41 meters/134 feet for women and 61 meters/200 feet for men, both Yas and David are eager to do their best in an attempt to take the records back. So technically, although they both would have to dive at least 1 meter deeper to break the records, they will try to dive deeper than that. Based on the demanding training they have followed for the past 4 months, their trainer Rudi reckons that they are ready to reach 45 meters and 65 meters respectively, and thus we have named this project the 110 meters unassisted mission, for the combined depth Yas and David are aiming to reach.

So, what we challenge you to do is guess what their individual and combined depths will be. Keep in mind that during the 12 days of diving, they will have several opportunities to improve their marks, so potentially they could set several records. Guess what the deepest result will be and you could win any of the prizes described below. So, send us an e-mail to info@learnfreediving.com with the subject line: Record Contest, and just enter a depth for each diver and a combined total, like the following example:

Total: 110 meters
Yasemin: 45 meters
David: 65 meters

Then, include your full name, nationality and full address in the e-mail at the bottom. We will select all participants with all 3 correct answers and award the prizes in order of selection until finished. Check out the prizes below:

- 1st Place: 1 x: Registration in an “Advanced Freediver” course taught exclusively by Yas, David and Rudi.
- 2nd and 3rd Place: 2 x Quantum “Barracuda 201” Dive watch with depth sensor, bottom timer and much more.
- 4th to 6th Place: MFC Optics sunglasses, the ultimate in sun protection for extreme athletes.

Winners will be selected as such:
We will pick those that guess both the individual depth for each diver as well as the combined depth, and from that group the 6 that register earlier will be the winners. If there are less than 6 winners in that group, then the rest of the prices will be awarded to those who guessed the combined depths correctly, again by registration date. All winners have the option to downgrade to a lower prize.

Good luck to all participants!!!
