LearnFreediving.com instructors Yasemin Dalkilic and Rudi Castineyra just finished a Master Freediver course in Moscow, Russia from June 30th to July 4th. The course was conducted with the assistance of Russian FREE instructors Damir Musin and Mikhael Artamonov and 13 students successfully graduated from it. It was the second course thought by our team in Russia and the first one attended by Yasemin Dalkilic, for whom our Russian friends had arranged a surprise meeting. On one of the evenings the team was privately received by the director of the Moscow Delpinarium who gave them a tour of the facilities and allow them to get in the water with the star of the institution, the Beluga whale named “Julia”. They were able to feed her, pet her and take rides on her back. After more than one hour of playful interaction in the water, our instructors were treated to a customary post-dive warm-up Russian technique: a shot of pure vodka, which not only they could not refuse but agreed felt quite right after such long time in the chilly waters.
