Location: Kas, Antalya, Turkey
The camp will take place in the town of Kas (read as Kash)
located in the south coast of Turkey. The nearest airport
is in Antalya, so all flights should be booked to Turkey with
final destination in Antalya. The airport is 195 km (110 miles)
from Kas and the transfer will take between 4-5 hours. A bus
from the airport will carry people to the municipal bus station
where a minibus connects to Kas very often. The whole trip
will cost around US $20. A faster option would be taking a
taxi from the airport, which would cost around $80 (one-way),
and take about 2-3 hours.
Duration: 5 days
Cost: US$700. This includes all diving,
boat fees, certificate and the instruction.
A deposit of $400 must be made no later than April 20th to secure your place in the course.
Certification: Participants will receive
the F.R.E.E. Master Freediver card upon completion of the
camp. The breakdown of the days is as follows:
Overview: The techniques and knowledge learned in this course will allow experienced freedivers to attain that elusive level of mastery they've been chasing for years. Deep dives in several categories and down to depths of 80 meters will be realized under the guidance and supervision of the instructors. Contents include bifin and monofin streamlining techniques, variable ballast principles, unassisted constant ballast introduction, deep water equalization, narcosis and decompression sickness, advanced training methodology and customized technique and training tips based on every student's features and goals.
