Location: Kas, Antalya, Turkey
The camp will take place in the town of Kas (read as Kash)
located in the south coast of Turkey. The nearest airport
is in Antalya, so all flights should be booked to Turkey with
final destination in Antalya. The airport is 195 km (110 miles)
from Kas and the transfer will take between 4-5 hours. A bus
from the airport will carry people to the municipal bus station
where a minibus connects to Kas very often. The whole trip
will cost around US $20. A faster option would be taking a
taxi from the airport, which would cost around $80 (one-way),
and take about 2-3 hours. The price can usually be negotiated
with the taxi drivers.
Duration: 4 days, with theory sessions in
the mornings, and pool/diving in the afternoons of all 5 days.
Cost: US$425. This includes all diving,
boat fees, manuals, certificate and the instruction.
A deposit of $200 must be made no later than April 15th to secure your place in the course.
Certification: Participants will receive
the F.R.E.E. Advanced Freediver card upon completion of the
camp. The breakdown of the days is as follows:
Overview: The most popular freediving course in the world with over 700 students from around the world graduated from it. This course will take all beginning and moderately experienced freedivers to a truly advanced level where they will have all the tools needed to improve their performance substantially with training and dedication. Contents include equipment selection, proper technique based on all type of equipment, body types and fitness levels, breathing techniques, equalization and an introduction to high performance training principles.
